New and old together

A feature of the July Practitioners Information and Networking Evening was the mixing and mingling of 'older' members with 'newer' members.  Micheline Dewdney, a member of the first ADRA Board elected in 1987 attended, along with Yula Blecher, Ursula Schappi and Michelle Brenner, all of whom have been active members for many years.  Paul Sweeney, a long-standing member attending his first function, Michelle De Vries, Ron Dunsire, Sue Waterhouse and Inez Jessurum were among those counted as 'newer' members.  Steve Lancken was congratulated by the President, Paula Castile, on his recent appointment to NADRAC.  Emma Matthews, Katherine Johnson and Janice McLeay presented reports and led some lively discussion on current issues before all present were asked to contribute ideas for ADRA's future development.  ADRA's cooperation with other agencies to achieve identified goals was noted, along with its friendly, inclusive atmosphere.  Our thanks go to the Law Society of NSW for providing the venue, once again, along with their much appreciated catering service for our refreshments.
