We all learned something new during Federal Magistrate Tom Altobelli's excellent coverage of dispute reolution in Family Law.  As always, Tom is a master of his subject, and his interactive style was much appreciated by his audience.  He talked about recent research on parenting contracts and the need to "paint with a fine brush" when dealing with issues relating to children.  Dr Vera Ranki promises to be equally engaging this evening.  Her recent series of talks at the State Library were well attended.  We are very lucky to have her in our program.  We are looking forward to further evening seminars, including Michelle Brenner and David Newman introducing a new concept in supervision of mediators.
